Festive Snowman Pancakes
Adults can still have fun with their food too, right?! These are also perfect to make with kiddos when it’s cold and snowy out.
Festive Snowman Pancakes
Ingredients
1 & ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 & ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 & ¼ cups milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla together. Add wet ingredients to dry and whisk once more. Be careful not to overmix-- the batter will have lumps!
In a large, heated skillet sprayed with nonstick spray, pour a small pancake for the snowman head, a slightly larger pancake for the middle, and a larger pancake for the base. Flip when the top of the pancakes become bubbly and cook until the other side is golden brown, 1-2 minutes.
Decorate your snowman pancakes with whatever you like! I just used what I had on hand (chocolate chips for the eyes and buttons, icing for the nose and mouth, candy canes for the arms, and marshmallows & confectioners’ sugar for “snow!”). Enjoy!
